The boys thought it was great ...
OK if I'm honest Michael absolutely loved it ..
Cameron loved it on the way to Lepperton, then said it got too noisy and was too long on the way back .. so he snuggled in with Aunty Sonje ...
It was freezing cold and windy on the way up the incline, and we were pleased to bring our coats etc ... but on the way back it was more sheltered ...
During the trip the Railway Preservation Society members gave us the history of the railway line and their future plans with the old railway station etc ... it was really interesting ..
The kids were all given little lollie bags so they thought that was a great bonus ...
All of the boys and Portia went out on the trailer carriage (if that's what its called) to peek over the side and tell us which way we were going .. and there were a couple of tunnels on the way ...
All good fun and a nice way to spend a spare hour and a half ... nice and relaxed ... and friendly people ...
