Room 4 Assembly

This week it was the boys class' turn to hold assembly ..

Cameron was the announcer and read through what the class does in a day ..

Michael read a piece from his writing book about his "shiny tooth" ..

They then went on to do some songs, a play and then show their light-houses (which they are hooking up to circuits this week as the school is doing a unit on electricity) .. and their mice (from the Hickory Dickory Dock song)

They are in yellow t-shirts as the school asks them to wear yellow on the days the Hurricanes are playing a game ..

Growing up quick ..

We've started giving the boys pocket money for chores ..

.. while our dishwasher was being prepared the boys dried the dishes each night

.. and had lots of fun

.. and told me they were getting big boys now .... heh heh ..

FINALLY !!!!!

Abbie has finally started to like having her hair put up in a pony tail .. YAY!!!!

In fact she is the one who asked for me to do it ..

She looks sooo different with it up ... huh??

A new sport for Cam ..

Cam really wanted to go to Mini-league basketball today after a notice came from school about it ..

We went in .. even though it was freezing cold .. and he absolutely loved it !!!

.. and he can't wait to go back next week

.. there are quite a few kids from school .. and one of the coach's boys knows Cam and was helping him out if he needed it ..

..then they had question time .. and all got treats ..

Mother's Day part II

I got woken at 6.30am by Michael saying "pleeeease can I give you my surprise now .. "

.. and these ..

... the boys then went on to make their Aunty Lish and Nana and Aunty Sonje cards for mother's day because they looooove making cards ... and because they love sharing the love ..

 

 

We went up and had lunch out with mum and Lish and her boys.. and the boys gave them their cards ..

.. then we went back to Mum's and the boys played Connect 4 and Yahtzee with Nana ..

.. and on the way home said they love playing games with Nana

.. we had a wee photo session too ..

More Rippa Rugby

The boys played their 2nd "official" game this morning .. and after last week (where Michael wouldn't play no matter what - but cam had a great game and had lots of fun) .. it was really great to see both of the boys wanting to get in to it and play ..

  

Michael scored quite a few tries and Cam was involved in a lot of the work of getting the ball to the try line .. but no tries .. oh well there's always next week.

They went back to the clubrooms and were really happy because lots of their friends from school play for other teams in the club that they played against and so a lot of them were there playing around ..

.. then they all went off to another class-mates birthday party and are all still there ..

So a fun day all round so far ..
